Chiropractic care is based on the diagnosis and manipulation of misalignments of the joints, primarily those found in the spinal column. If left untreated, these misalignments can cause other issues in the body that may start affecting the nerves, muscles, and organs. Chiropractic adjustments can help patients who suffer from many ailments and injuries that cause chronic pain in the back, neck and other areas of the body.

Chiropractic care can help patients to recover from more than just pain and injury without surgery or medication

Not only can chiropractic adjustments help to align the body, but they can help people who suffer from other issues including digestive problems, sleep disorders, headaches and fatigue. The spine is the highway that connects the entire body. From brain to tailbone, as well as extending outwards, the spine controls and regulates many parts of the body. There are countless issues that chiropractic care can help with, either as a primary route of treatment or as a supplement to other treatment programs.

Common benefits of routine chiropractic care:

  • Pain relief and accelerated injury recovery
  • Improved nerve communication
  • Improved joint motion, balance and coordination
  • Increased body function and performance
  • Improved posture

Manipulations to the spine and other areas of the body help to heal the body from injury

Chiropractic care works with gentle manual manipulation to correct subluxations in the spine. When the vertebrae are out of alignment, it can cause terrible symptoms such as pain, immobility and other long-term ailments. Dr. Aylor will work with you to help gently move your body back into place.

We use the Activator Method to provide for a non-force option of chiropractic adjustments

The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique is a chiropractic treatment method and device created by Arlan Fuhr as an alternative to manual manipulation of the spine or extremity joints. The device is categorized as a mechanical force manual assisted (MFMA) instrument which is generally regarded as a softer chiropractic treatment technique. The activator method is a far gentler chiropractic treatment with amazing results.

We use the Activator Methods in our Chiropractic Care.  Activator uses precision instrument adjusting of the spine – no forceful, cracking motions are used – to improve nervous system function and the body’s ability to heal.  This results in elimination of pain and symptoms and a healthier, longer life.

Chiropractic Techniques at Camarillo Holistic and Chiropractic Center

Koren Specific Technique

KST is a healing protocol used to locate and correct/release areas of blockage, distortion, subluxation, interference, stagnation and other stresses in the body and body/mind that are often missed by most healthcare professionals.

Cranial Release Technique

CRT involves adjusting various different small bones that compose the skull, to promote optimal nervous system functioning and the correct communication between different parts of the body via these impulses.

Activator Technique

The Activator Method uses a small, hand-held instrument called the Activator Adjusting Instrument to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

Rapid Release Instrument Therapy

RRT(rapid release therapy) delivers comfortable high velocity, low amplitude, tapotement/percussion for shaking loose tight muscles with many users reporting relief and in their areas of complaint. User feedback suggests that they note a difference in one or two short 3 minute therapeutic sessions.
